Big Van World, one of Britain’s largest van supermarkets, have recently acquired a new trading estate adjacent to their current site, investing over £2 million in a state-of-the-art facility to add to their existing 20 acre premises.

The new site, which is adjacent to their current dealership in Cricklade, Swindon, will enable vans to be prepared and delivered in a much shorter time.

It will provide space for up to 1,000 vans and vehicles to be stocked, as well as create additional space for vehicle preparation and maintenance to be carried out, which includes a state-of-the-art body prep centre.

Founder and Managing Director, Michael Austen, said:

“This expansion will enable us to continue our aim, which is to bring what has been achieved in the car industry to the van industry, higher volumes, more choice, lower prices and better availability for our customers”.

Previously Austen Trading, Big Van World were established in 2002, but rebranded in 2017 to support the company’s evolution from a local van dealership to a nationally recognised commercial vehicle supermarket.

Big Van World stocks a wide range of vans, cars and other commercial vehicles, currently employing over 40 people.
