At Big Van World, we’re taking part in Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 12th December to support the work of Save the Children. By joining in, you’ll be helping to protect, nurture, and support children in the UK and around the world, ensuring they stay safe, healthy, and learning.
We’re inviting everyone to join us and show their support. Here’s how you can get involved:
On Thursday 12th December, wear your favourite Christmas jumper to work, school, or while out and about. Whether it’s a classic festive knit or something more quirky, every jumper worn helps to raise awareness for this important cause.
Donations start at just £2 and make a meaningful difference. You can donate in one of two ways:
Your mobile provider will bill you £5, plus your standard network rate. Save the Children will receive 100% of your donation. To opt out of receiving fundraising calls, include NO after the text code.
Save the Children puts donations to work immediately, funding practical and impactful solutions. For example:
Save the Children works globally to tackle issues such as hunger, education gaps, and child protection. In the UK, their programmes address child poverty, ensuring children have access to essentials such as food and clothing. By taking part in Christmas Jumper Day, you are directly contributing to these efforts.
Christmas Jumper Day is an easy way to support a good cause. By wearing a jumper and donating, you are helping children and families in need, whether it’s providing food, warmth, or support for education. Every contribution, no matter how small, adds up to meaningful change.
Join Big Van World on Thursday 12th December in supporting Save the Children. Together, we can contribute to building a brighter future for children both here in the UK and across the globe.
